Palestinian Students Still Waiting To Leave Gaza To Study Abroad

Due to the implementation of the Israeli-imposed closure of the Gaza Strip together with the rigid criteria for exit via the Erez and Rafah border crossings, about 838 Palestinian students are still waiting in Gaza with hopes of studying abroad.

To travel overseas is no simple matter for those Palestinian students because of the very extreme limitation of passage in accordance to the long list of criteria determined by Israel.
